Hello! I am planning a summer out of state visit to see my mom. My 10 year old nephew visits her home quite a bit so she has a care-giver relationship with him. He can be funny and sweet but can also engage in major tantrums about going to bed, doing homework, etc. He does not do this when he is with his dad (my brother.) My question is, how do I choose connection over rejection with my nephew when we are visiting and he is having a meltdown? I do not want to step on my mom's toes or hurt my nephew but I do not want my visit hijacked by his tantrums. I will definitely be thinking about the above mentioned 25 things. Thanks!
