These tips can be used with siblings as well. When you there is a conflict between more than one child, do what can to empathize with each person&#039;s perspective. You may need to alternate who you start with (so you&#039;re not always addressing the same child first). Listen, don&#039;t pick sides or make a judgment call, then listen to the other child with the same openness. Paraphrase both kids concerns and feelings and see if they can work toward a solution.
