This is really amazing advice, and something I need to work on. Especially as my daughter is in school all day now, and I’m constantly trying to get her to open up about her day (which is a bit like pulling teeth). Nicole, you hit the nail on the head every time I read your posts! Thanks so much for this – it is sooo hard to listen and only listen sometimes. As parents we want to fix everything… sometimes, we are not really supposed to I guess. Maybe it’s not broken?
