That’s why I do love making new mom friends and having playdates. It feels wonderful to connect with someone else who really gets the challenge of parenting, and is willing to admit they aren’t perfect, just like me.

Hi Rebecca, I’m glad you’re here! That is a very lonely situation you are describing! I know how hard it is to make connections in a new city. I hope the assessments are helpful for your son, and he gets the help he needs…and maybe you can find support among other parents whose children have autism spectrum disorders.
