Making any type of long-term change…a resolution or not…takes time and dedication, as well as some trial and error. Don’t beat yourself up if you fail a time or two (or 10) before you see progress.
If you find that it is still very challenging to make these changes on your own, it’s OK to seek help. Get a group of friends together for a book club, enter therapy or begin parent coaching. It’s not too late to make the changes you want to see in your parenting and your family!
