Welcome to Imperfect Families!
Hi! Thank you for stopping by. I’m Nicole Schwarz, MA, LMFT, Parent Coach and owner of Imperfect Families.com.
I am married and have 3 daughters. I don’t write much about my family on the blog…having 3 girls helps them stay anonymous…but I definitely share bits and pieces of my own parenting struggles and successes along with practical, applicable tips to help you be a positive parent to your kids.
The posts you find here are also influenced by my background as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Over the years, my practice focused primarily on helping grade-school age children who struggle with anxiety, anger, perfectionism and low self-esteem.
If you’re looking for something specific, here is a place to start:
- sibling rivalry
- being a good-enough mom
- making mistakes
- being ok with being imperfect.
